Wilbur's 7th grade band played at a judged event in March. Here is their dress rehearsal, followed by the judged performance. They received an Excellent rating, and a Superior in sight reading (which parents were not allowed to be in the room for, so no video of that.)
Wilbur also qualified to play in the Piedmont Honor Band, which meant two days of rehearsal learning new music, and a performance at the end of day two.
And here are Wilbur's concert band and jazz band performances for the school spring concert. You can see Wilbur in the back row with the percussion, and to the far left on piano with the jazz band.
