These were taken a couple weeks after Sara told me the good news, and only a month after she, herself, learned of it!  A week before these shots we had our first doctor visit and heard the little one's heartbeat for the first time - an unexpected and profound experience for both of us.  This began the process of making this whole overwhelming concept less abstract, and then these images appeared and, well, WOW.

Hello, Loved Ones!

Since not everyone is a part of the same Facebook world it makes sense to post pictures and updates here, too, where all can see, share and enjoy!  (I say "for now" because once 'Wee Becker' has made the great escape we plan to give him/her a name and then, at some point, create a new blog that includes their name, as well.)

As for updates, there isn't much to say at the moment, aside from the fact that this pregnancy has been by the book and incredibly trouble-free.  Needless to say, we are incredibly hopeful that the delivery follows suit.
